SHADES OF MEMORIES

HAPPINESS IS SIMPLISTIC

One can actually be happy and not have everything one wants or needs.

I don’t think being happy means a perfect state of satisfaction in all things life and spirituality…

I think happiness is hope for today and tomorrow.

Happiness is not having enough and still feeling more than enough.

You can be lonely, yet happy.

You can have a great career, no great love and still be happy.

Happiness is not about having everything in 100%

It may be about contentment at 40%.

It may be about choosing what you are most grateful for despite the absence of all your desires.

Maybe I am being too simplistic because how can one be happy without having all they desire or need?

I think it depends on how you perceive it.

If perfection is your standard of happiness, then, happiness will always be elusive.

If growth is your definition, then happiness will be progressive and evolutionary.

What do you think happiness encompasses?

I think it will always be a pursuit if it is about destination but attainable if it is about the journey.

It is the little things that brings happiness, accepting this will always be a choice.
