Life is beautiful.
The unexpected turns are what keeps us on our toes.
The uncertainties, the almost event..
When we almost touch what we want and think this is finally the breakthrough…
Only to turn and find that it was all a mirage…
You know what I mean right? You have felt it too I know.
Does it get easier?
Actually, No. We just get better at living it or maybe not.
There are no easy answers.
There are just answers we feel better living with and some we are not so sure about because we wish they’d just be different or go better than what we have to live with in that moment.
The answers we have to live with even when they are not what we want are the hardest ones to live with.
Like letting go of a person you were so sure would be the love of your life…or accepting a loveless marriage because it is better than facing the loneliness and uncertainties alone.
The in-betweens… the answer you cannot be sure is the right one because only time will tell. The grey areas where you are not exactly making the choice because it is the best one but because it is the only one you are capable of living with. Sometimes that is even forced upon you…you just had to decide. If you had a choice, you’d have stayed inertia.
This too shall pass…
Not everything does though. Some things stay. Stay for a while…for all our lives. Like grief, loss, regrets, inadequacies… but you will live. Life will go on. Good days will upturn the bad, bad days will come again. You will change through each season become more formidable or more adaptable.
Whatever happens, you will not break even when you reach your breaking point because nothing can fall the fallen and then you’d realize that you are still here breathing and hopeful and that will be enough till the shadows come again…
Eventually light will find you. If not now, in the end.
You are light, darkness cannot overturn.
Remember this.
